Staff Nurse – Surgical Ward London: The Princess Grace Hospital Full time, 37.5 hours per week Shift times: Shift patterns will include days, nights and weekends Permanent Salary: Competitive DOE + 9% shift enhancement We’re looking for a Staff Nurse to join our Surgical Ward team at The Princess Grace Hospital, currently rated “Good” by the CQC. As a Staff Nurse within the surgical ward, you will be responsible for assessing patient care needs, planning, implementing and evaluating programmes of care, working both independently and collaboratively within the wider team. You will support patients throughout their surgical journey, delivering high-quality care from admission through to discharge. The role involves monitoring patient condition, administering medications, managing post‑operative care, and ensuring accurate documentation. You will escalated concerns appropriately and work closely with consultants and allied health professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients. You will take accountability for your own practice while contributing to a supportive team environment and maintaining a consistently high standard of patient‑centred care.
