Maintenance Mechanic

Mobile Maintenance Mechanic – JLLThe Mobile Maintenance Mechanic performs both preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment/systems across assigned facilities. This role assists senior mechanics in maintenance and repair efforts while independently performing defined tasks. The position encompasses inspections and repairs of property interior and exterior areas, including walls, flooring, installed fixtures, roofing systems, and lighting to ensure optimal facility operations and client satisfaction.What your day-to-day will look like:Clean HVAC coils, change filters and belts while maintaining and repairing plumbing components including toilets, urinals, lavatories, flush valves, sinks, drains, water heaters, piping, and sump pumpsMaintain and repair locks, locking mechanisms, closers, doors, and furniture throughout assigned facilitiesMaintain and complete documentation for fire extinguishers and other building systems to ensure compliancePrepare, prime and paint building interior and exterior surfaces and perform general handyman tasks to maintain buildingsComplete special tasks including painting, locksmith work, tenant service requests, and general maintenance as assignedPrioritize all preventative maintenance, corrective and emergent work orders for assigned sites (annual, monthly, weekly, and daily)Update work order status in real time utilizing CMMS system and escalate problems or issues to customers and management in a timely mannerRequired Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum 1 year of related experience and/or training in carpentry, electrical, and plumbingExperience with hand tools and power toolsProficiency in basic computer application software such as MS Office, Outlook, CMMS (Maximo)Physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs., climb ladders up to 30 ft., and work in adverse conditions including extreme temperaturesPreferred Qualifications:EPA Universal LicenseBuilding Automation System (BAS) experiencePreventative maintenance experience on HVAC equipmentLocation: Mobile position covering Waterbury, CT and surrounding area.Work Shift: Standard business hours with on-call availabilityThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
