Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse in Nashville, Tennessee. This position involves working in the Labor and Delivery Department with responsibilities on an LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum) unit under the Women's Services Department. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

• Experience: No minimum years of experience required; Certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the AHA, National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Stable (AHA), Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Advanced, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) or Medication Administration Basic (MAB). Experience in obstetrics or assisting in operating room (OR) is preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may be required within the candidates scope of practice.
• Additional Information: The facility can cancel one shift every four weeks during the contract. Charge or preceptor duties may be required and will be reflected on the healthcare professionals timesheet. Compliance clearance is required 10 days prior to orientation. Orientation is scheduled for RN specialties including Emergency Department (ED), Medical-Surgical (Med Surg), Telemetry (Tele), Forensics (M/S-Tele), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Postpartum, and Labor & Delivery. It must be included in the contract that more than three call outs during the contracted period may result in termination of the assignment.
