Job Details Work 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM 36 guaranteed hours per week Every 3rd weekend required, potentially up to every other weekend Holiday rotation required (generally 3 of the 6 major holidays) Patient ratio of 1:2 May float to Med Surg when needed No call requirement 2 years of experience required First-time travelers accepted Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS SANE certification required in hand at time of submission May be required to float or take call at the Center of Hope (20 minutes from main ER) Care for patients requiring pressors, sedation, thrombolytic therapy, electrolyte replacement, cardiac monitoring, cardiac drips, hemodynamic monitoring, and ventilator/BiPAP support Perform bedside procedures including chest tube placement, intubation, line placement, cardioversions, lumbar punctures, and thoracentesis May require conscious sedation administration Any color scrubs acceptable - must look professional Meditech charting system Free parking 12 hours of orientation Maximum 7 days RTO allowed Facility This healthcare facility features a 16-bed ICU and Progressive Care unit that provides comprehensive critical care services. The unit is equipped with modern technology including Alaris IV pumps, Kangaroo feeding pumps, bladder scanners, vein finders, telemetry, BiPAP, high flow oxygen, EKOS, and A-line/CVP monitoring equipment.
