Licensing Support & Growth: While a Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required prior to hire, we strongly encourage team members to obtain their Life & Health license. THM Insurance will reimburse the full cost of obtaining your Life & Health license after 90 days of successful employment.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Base Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour (commensurate with experience).

Uncapped Commission Structure:

3% Commission on total sold premium (Agency historical reports show producer monthly sales volumes typically range between $50,000 and $75,000 in sold premium).

100% Pass-Through Commission on Life Insurance products.

Monthly Performance Bonuses: Earn an additional monthly cash bonus whenever you complete at least one Life Insurance policy or one Commercial/Business Insurance transaction during the calendar month.

Paid Time Off & Observed Paid Holidays:

1 week of paid vacation

3 paid sick days

6 Observed Paid Holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day (4th of July), Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Consistent Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM (No weekend shifts).

Responsibilities

Respond promptly to incoming phone calls and web inquiries from prospective personal and commercial lines policyholders.

Consult with clients to analyze coverage needs, evaluate risks, prepare accurate quotes, present options, and close sales across Auto, Home, Life, and Business insurance.

Provide professional account service to existing policyholders, assisting with policy changes, coverage reviews, and identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities.

Utilize our agency business texting platform and centralized callback systems to maintain organized, timely customer communications.

Maintain accurate customer records, protect confidential data, and adhere strictly to California insurance regulations and agency ethical standards.

Requirements

Licensing: Active California Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance License required.

Life Insurance License: Active Life & Health license is optional but a major plus (required to earn 100% pass-through life commissions and monthly life bonuses; tuition and exam fees reimbursed after 90 days if acquired post-hire).

Language Skills: Bilingual in Spanish is a big plus to better serve our diverse local clientele in Garden Grove and surrounding areas.

Farmers Insurance Systems Experience: Hands-on experience with Farmers systems and software is optional but a big plus.

Work Location: 100% in-office position at our Garden Grove office (14351 Euclid St, Suite 1M). Remote work is not available.

Experience: Prior experience in insurance sales, agency customer service, or account management is strongly preferred.

Technical Skills: Comfortable learning proprietary software, navigating digital multi-line phone systems, and communicating professionally via SMS and email.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an advisory mindset focused on building long-term client relationships.
