Registered Nurse - Inpatient Rehabilitation

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts; every other weekend and holiday rotations are required.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with a minimum of 13 weeks of EPIC experience, along with Med-Surg or inpatient rehabilitation expertise, to join our rehabilitation team. The role involves providing care to adults requiring inpatient rehabilitation services with high acuity needs, contributing to our goal of helping patients achieve their highest level of recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Assist with activities of daily living, medication administration, and patient assessments.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure patient safety by responding to call lights and assisting nursing aides.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in skilled nursing or another 24/7 skilled care environment.
• Minimum of 13 weeks of experience with the EPIC electronic health record system.
• BLS certification is required.
• Preferred experience in Med-Surg or inpatient rehabilitation.
