Job Description

The Travel RN Med Surg is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and participating in professional development activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care according to RN standards and scope of practice.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, providing appropriate interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and progress accurately in medical records.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and health management.
• Adhere to safety and quality regulations and standards of care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Texas.
• Experience in Med Surg nursing preferred.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be beneficial.
