A manufacturing company in Hudson, MI has a Building Maintenance position available on 2nd shift. This role supports facility upkeep and daily operations. Starting pay is $16/hr.

Building Maintenance Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 16.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Second Shift (Monday through Friday from 3:00pm to 11:00pm)

• This building maintenance role begins with training on 1st shift (7:00 AM–3:00 PM) before moving to 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM).

• Responsibilities include handling scrap and shavings disposal, operating equipment such as the oil separator, floor scrubber, and water softener, supporting production by supplying materials to machines, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility.
• The position also includes preventative maintenance, unloading deliveries, waste removal, rag laundering, snow removal, and general facility upkeep.

• Employees are eligible for a pay increase every 30 days based on attendance and job performance.
• $0.75 shift premium for 2nd shift.
• $16 to start
• 16.50 (30 days)
• $17.00 (60 days)
• $17.50 (90 Days)

Building Maintenance Qualifications:

• HS Diploma/GED required.
• Experience with a forklift, floor scrubber, and overhead crane.
• Must be able to lift 40lbs repetitively and up to 50lbs occasionally.
• Previous building maintenance experience preferred.
• Slip-resistant safety shoes are required.

• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
