As they continue to scale, they are modernizing their enterprise HR technology stack to ensure a seamless, high-performance experience for both candidates and internal teams. Enterprise HR Technology Solutions Architect (UKG / Phenom)

Engagement Model: 34 Month Initial Consulting Contract (High probability of extension to 612+ months for program implementation)

Work Environment: 100% Remote (Occasional expensed travel for executive presentations may be requested)

The Opportunity

Our client is undertaking a massive HR technology transformation, transitioning their legacy ATS (iCIMS) to an AI-driven Talent Experience Platform (Phenom) and integrating it seamlessly with their core system of record (UKG). They have purchased top-of-the-line technology and have tactical integrators engaged, but they urgently need a high-level Solutions Architect to translate executive business requirements into a functional, end-to-end system architecture.

We are looking for a strategic advisora "translator"who can sit with the CHRO and CIO, map out the operational workflows, untangle a disjointed onboarding process, and design a compliant integration roadmap. You will not be hands-on-keyboard configuring the systems; you will be the architectural mastermind ensuring the systems actually deliver on the business's investment.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Strategy & Translation: Act as the strategic bridge between the CHRO's business desires and the technical implementation, ensuring Phenom and UKG are optimized to perform together seamlessly.

Workflow & Architecture Design: Map the end-to-end data flow from candidate attraction (Phenom) through to the "back door" of core HR and payroll (UKG).

Onboarding Optimization: Completely redesign and streamline the current onboarding workflows, eliminating bottlenecks and data corruption between systems.

SOC2 Compliance & Auditing: Ensure all architectural designs, data pipelines, and system configurations strictly adhere to SOC2 compliance and audit responsibilities.

Leadership Presentation: Present integration roadmaps, risk assessments, and operational designs directly to the Executive Leadership Team to build confidence and secure buy-in.

Integrator Oversight: Provide architectural guidance and blueprints to the tactical integration team to ensure the build matches your strategic design.

Required Expertise

Dual-System Mastery: Deep, demonstrable architectural expertise in both UKG (Pro/Ready) and Phenom (API connectors, Job Sync, Hosted Apply, etc.).

Enterprise Migrations: Proven experience sunsetting legacy ATS platforms (specifically iCIMS) and migrating historical candidate pipelines to AI-driven platforms.

Compliance & Onboarding: Strong background in untangling complex healthcare or high-volume onboarding workflows while maintaining strict SOC2 and data governance standards.

Executive Presence: Exceptional consulting and storytelling skills; ability to confidently present to and advise C-suite stakeholders (CIO, CHRO).

Strategic Scope: Ability to look beyond basic configuration and architect an operating model that connects human capital strategy with system capabilities.
