Billing/Accounts Receivable Specialist
LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring for a billing/accounts receivable specialist in the Fort Lauderdale, FL area. This position is working fully in office and is a 35-month contracted role. Our client is searching for a strong billing/accounts receivable specialist with a strong background in accounting, operations, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume billing and invoicing for marina customers
- Handle customer inquiries related to billing and account balances
- Perform AR reconciliations and support AR meetings
- Communicate proactively with management regarding issues, updates, and workflow status
- Maintain detailed and accurate records with a strong focus on error prevention
- Support general administrative and documentation needs as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of billing and/or accounts receivable experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience working directly with customers regarding billing matters
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to stay late when needed to complete time-sensitive work
- Experience with Salesforce preferred
- Marina or maritime industry experience is a plus, but not required
