Registered Nurse - Mercy South Operating Room

Find your calling at Mercy! Plans, prepares and provides individualized, direct preoperative care to In- and Outpatients in the Surgery department using the nursing process. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Full-Time, 40 hours/week

Licensure: Must have current RN licensure in the state of practice.
Experience : Must have at least 2 years of Surgery, Perioperative or Critical Care experience.
Minimum Certification Required: BLS
Preferred Certification: ACLS, PALS

Physical Requirements:
• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
