Assignment Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a position in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU). The ideal candidate should have level I trauma and ICU experience, capable of handling post-surgical patients and multi-system traumas. This role is designed for a professional who can titrate drips and effectively manage patient care in an acute setting.

- Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 - 19:30); 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period
- Assignment Length: Not Provided
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2430 (negotiable)
- Charting System: EPIC
- Scrub Color/Dress Code: No specific colors required
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level nursing care to patients
- Manage and titrate drips including pressors, sedation, paralytics, and insulin
- Interpret and read telemonitor strips
- Collaborate with intensivists and the healthcare team
Qualifications
Required:
- Active IL license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
- Level I trauma and ICU experience
- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Ability to pass a negative drug screen for all panels
