Assembly Specialist (Whittier, CA) — $18/hr

You'll assemble custom consoles, workstations, and furniture that support high-stakes operations—where precision, quality, and safety matter.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

• Shift: 1st Shift

• Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

• Overtime: As needed

What You'll Do

• Interpret and follow detailed engineering drawings and schematics

• Assemble custom consoles, workstations, and furniture to specification

• Install hardware and (when applicable) electrical components

• Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet standards

• Use hand and power tools safely in a production environment

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

• 1–3 years of experience in assembly, cabinetry, millwork, or manufacturing

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/schematics

• Skilled with hand and power tools (safe operation)

• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods

• Reliable, punctual, proactive, and communicates well

• Valid driver's license

Nice to Have

• Electrical component installation experience

• Familiarity with OSHA safety policies

• Background in public safety or control room environments

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
