Registered Nurse - Ortho-Neuro

This is a 13-week contract position.

12-hour night shifts with every-other-weekend requirement. Weekend shifts for nights are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

The Registered Nurse will provide care to patients in the Ortho-Neuro unit, managing both elective surgeries and post-operative care. The role involves monitoring patient conditions effectively and administering necessary treatments.

Manage patient care for a variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions.

Administer medications and treatments per care protocols.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Document patient care and progress using the EPIC charting system.

Supervise care provided by Patient Care Techs (PCTs) and ensure efficient workflow on the unit.

Registered Nurse license is required.

BLS certification required (AHA).

Experience with orthopedic patients and PCA pumps is a must.

Previous experience in a MedSurg setting preferred.
