Travel CVOR RN - Cardiovascular Surgery - $2,723 per week

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Margate, Florida.

Job Description & Requirements

Number of Beds: 2 rooms

· Number of Staff: 1 RN, 1 Techs ( 2 RNs/1 tech on call)

· Type of Staff: 

o Day Shift: 1 RN, 1 Techs,

o Night Shift: n/a

· Patient Ratios (Estimated) : 1:1

· Type of Equipment: Impella, ECMO, Bypass pump, Laser(lead extraction) EVH, Rapid Transfuser

· Documentation System: Meditech

· Call Requirements: On-call is split and dependent on staffing

Must have : (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role )

· ACLS, BLS, 2 years current experience in acute OR setting.

· Must be able to Scrub and be proficient in all service lines. Rotating weekends are a possibility.

List Typical Procedures Performed on Unit(s):   

· Joint replacement, ENT, Ortho, Spine, Urology 

· Vascular, Podiatry, Thoracic Surgery and Plastic Surgery

Additional Preferences:

· Can also scrub(RN)

· Can function in all surgical specialties other than CVOR (robotics, ortho, spine, GYN)

· RN is responsible for the observation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation of care of all patients

· proficient charting, multi-tasking, critical thinker, excellent bedside manner

228 bed Joint Commission and designated top performing hospital since 1980 · Certified primary stroke center, Blue Distinction Stroke Center and specializing in surgical programs including Open Heart, 24 hour adult and pediatric ER, orthopedics, robotics, women’s services and rehabilitation
