Job Description

Help create the next generation of lighting technology.

LEDdynamics is an engineering company specializing in advanced LED light engines, electronics, drivers, controls, optics and custom OEM solutions. We partner with leading manufacturers to develop innovative lighting systems for architectural, industrial, medical, wellness and specialty applications.

We’re looking for a hands-on Product Development Engineer to join our close-knit engineering team. This is an opportunity to work on exciting new technologies while collaborating directly with customers, manufacturing and fellow engineers to bring innovative products to market.

If you enjoy solving real engineering problems, building products and seeing your ideas become reality, we’d like to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop next-generation LED light engines, electronic assemblies, drivers and lighting controls.
  • Support customer projects by translating application requirements into practical engineering solutions.
  • Lead and support New Product Introduction (NPI) from concept through production.
  • Design, prototype, test and refine new products.
  • Work closely with manufacturing to ensure designs are robust, reliable and manufacturable.
  • Collaborate across electrical, mechanical, optical, manufacturing and quality disciplines.
  • Support continuous improvement of existing products and manufacturing processes.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for an engineer who brings expertise in one discipline and enjoys working across many others.

You may have experience in:

  • Electrical or Electronics Engineering
  • Mechanical or Electromechanical Design
  • Optics
  • Manufacturing or Quality Engineering
  • Embedded Systems or Controls

Most importantly, you:

  • Have a genuine passion for engineering, lighting and electronics.
  • Enjoy building, creating and solving problems.
  • Thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Communicate well with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
  • Enjoy taking products from concept through production and seeing real-world results.
  • Have a hobbyist or maker mindset—you build, experiment and learn because you enjoy it.

Why LEDdynamics?

At LEDdynamics, engineering is at the heart of everything we do.

You’ll work on a wide variety of products and technologies, from custom OEM solutions to advanced light engines, drivers, controls and optical systems. You’ll be part of a talented, collaborative team where your ideas matter, your work has visible impact and you’ll have the opportunity to grow as the company grows.

If you’re looking for a place where engineering is practical, innovative and customer-focused, we’d love to hear from you.
