Why This Role in Dallas Stands Out Be part of a rapidly growing Texas market with strong project pipelines Work on high‑visibility projects across aviation, healthcare, federal, and commercial sectors Have a direct impact on team growth and regional expansion Collaborate with a nationally recognized, multidisciplinary firm while building local influence What You’ll Do Lead the design and delivery of complex mechanical (MEP) projects across Dallas and beyond Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, helping shape project scope and solutions Help manage projects on key accounts across the country Apply advanced engineering concepts to solve complex, real‑world challenges Oversee development of plans, specifications, and construction documents Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers in a fully integrated design environment Supervise, mentor, and guide junior engineers, elevating team performance Conduct quality control reviews to ensure technical excellence Support construction administration, including field observations Contribute to client development, proposals, and presentations as the Dallas team continues to grow What You Bring Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (accredited program) Professional Engineer (PE) license in good standing 10+ years of MEP design experience, including large or multiple mid‑sized projects; 12+ years of experience preferred Strong knowledge of FBC/IBC, ASHRAE, and NFPA codes Proven ability to lead projects and mentor junior staff Experience reviewing technical work for quality and accuracy Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Strong communication skills with a client‑focused mindset Experience in building and site design Willingness to travel as needed Note: Due to federal contract requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents. Nice to Have Experience with business development and client engagement in the Dallas market Ability to obtain multi‑state licensure (NCEES certification a plus) Why RS&H?
