This OTR CDL A Driver role offers competitive pay up to $0.90 CPM for 1099 contractors specializing in extended long-haul routes. Drivers will handle a variety of freight types including dry van, flatbed, and refrigerated loads, with opportunities for solo or team driving. The position focuses on maintaining safety and efficiency throughout long-distance trips leveraging strong vehicle inspection and equipment maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct extended long-haul driving assignments
• Handle and secure various freight types: dry van, flatbed, refrigerated
• Perform thorough vehicle inspections before and after trips
• Maintain equipment to ensure operational safety and compliance

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial driving experience
• Valid Class A CDL license
• Knowledge of commercial vehicle operations and safety compliance
• Strong time management skills for extended routes
• Proficient in vehicle inspection procedures
• Effective communication skills
