Position Summary
The Healthcare Liaison & Marketing Coordinator serves as the primary connection between patients, healthcare providers, and the community while leading marketing initiatives that promote the organization's services and mission. This role focuses on enhancing the patient experience, building strong provider and community relationships, increasing brand awareness, and supporting organizational growth through strategic outreach and marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact between patients, healthcare providers, referral sources, and the organization.
- Educate patients, families, and community partners about available healthcare services, treatment options, and programs.
- Coordinate patient referrals, follow-up appointments, and communication between providers to ensure continuity of care.
- Address patient questions, concerns, and complaints, facilitating timely resolution and improving patient satisfaction.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with physicians, healthcare professionals, and community organizations to support patient care and organizational goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, referrals, outreach activities, and feedback.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, patient engagement, and service utilization.
- Conduct market research to identify healthcare trends, community needs, and opportunities for growth.
- Create and manage marketing content for digital platforms, social media, websites, email campaigns, and print materials.
- Collaborate with clinical and leadership teams to ensure marketing communications are accurate, compliant, and aligned with organizational objectives.
- Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance using key metrics and data insights, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Assist in planning community outreach events, health fairs, educational seminars, and promotional initiatives.
- Manage marketing budgets, coordinate vendor relationships, and allocate resources effectively to maximize return on investment.
- Support initiatives that enhance patient experience, strengthen community partnerships, and improve overall healthcare outcomes.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in a Healthcare Related Field, Marketing, Communications, Public Health, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in healthcare, patient relations, marketing, community outreach, or business development preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital marketing platforms, including social media and content management systems.
- Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and use performance metrics to guide decision-making.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, patient privacy standards, and ethical marketing practices is preferred.
