Job Description
This Cleaning Day Porter and Food Prep role offers a competitive starting wage of $15 an hour with opportunities for raises based on performance. Working Monday through Saturday with alternating shifts from 6am to 1pm or 3pm, plus shorter hours on Saturday, this position combines janitorial and food preparation duties to maintain a clean and welcoming environment for clients and customers. The role involves independent work within a combined cleaning and food prep team and occasional travel for catering or food pickup using a company vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Clean and stock restrooms with essentials such as paper towels and toilet paper
- Empty trash throughout the building as needed
- Prepare breakfast and lunch for customers while managing coffee and tea stations
- Maintain cleanliness and stock in all breakrooms
- Complete daily cleaning requests across the facility
- Pick up catering and food orders for clients and customers using company vehicle
- Provide a clean and organized environment to assist customers with their needs
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in janitorial or food service
- Basic food safety knowledge
- Experience in janitorial cleaning
- Strong customer service skills
- Effective time management abilities
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
