RN - Case Manager

RN Case Manager - focus on ED and medical inpatient coverage. 40 hours/week, 5 hour shifts (08:30 - 17:00), every 4th weekend (up to every other w/e as agency only), one holiday per year (as staff). Candidate is expected to be able to hit the ground running with about 3 days of orientation. Patient ratio ideally assigned to 1 unit (20 beds) in partnership (CM & SW). Staffing dependent, may be 1.5-2 units in partnership during crisis staffing.

Experience: minimally 2 years hospital inpatient med-surg/critical care discharge planning; no therapists. MD license must be in hand.

Flu Vaccine: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only

Skills: BLS

Requires 2 years of experience. Valid Maryland or Compact license required at time of submission. References required. Locals accepted at same rate. Candidates will float within hospital, within scope. Copy of certifications required. Return staff must be gone for at least 1 year and will be reviewed case by case. Modules are non-billable, up to 8 hours and factored in NBO. Modules are completed virtually on first day of contract and annually, and do not vary by specialty. Modules are recorded via transcripts.
