What You'll Do:

As a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab, you will provide critical nursing care during complex cardiac procedures, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional cardiovascular services and utilize your skills to support advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience working in a Cardiac Cath Lab or similar cardiovascular specialty
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong understanding of cardiac procedures, anatomy, and patient monitoring
• Excellent critical thinking and decision-making abilities
• Compassionate bedside manner and effective communication skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Certification as a Cerner specialist
• Prior experience with hospital electronic medical records systems
• Knowledge of sedation protocols and patient education
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Valid RN license
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher preferred
• Prior experience in a hospital setting, specifically in cardiac or interventional radiology units

Other Requirements:

• Must be willing to work scheduled hours from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM, Monday through Friday
• This position is 13-week assignment with the possibility of extension
• No local candidates within 50 miles will be considered
• Travel reimbursement and licensure/certification reimbursement available when applicable
