Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to high-risk obstetric patients in a Labor and Delivery setting
• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Recognize and respond to obstetric emergencies, initiating appropriate interventions in a timely manner
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record
• Educate patients and families on labor progression, delivery expectations, and postpartum care

Required Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Experience with high-risk obstetric patient populations
• Current BLS and applicable obstetric certifications (e.g., NRP, AWHONN fetal monitoring)
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced acute care environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Labor and Delivery or High-Risk OB unit
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems used in large acute care facilities
• Experience in a high-volume, comprehensive medical center environment
