MANAGEMENT-SIDE EMPLOYMENT LITIGATION ASSOCIATE Winston-Salem, North Carolina | 3–5 Years of Experience Friday Services is partnering with an established law firm to recruit an associate for its management-side Labor and Employment practice in Winston-Salem. This opening may be a strong fit for an attorney who enjoys substantive litigation work while also valuing collaboration, professional development, and ownership of their work. You will work in practices recognized as top-tier alongside attorneys who have received national recognition, yet with an annual hourly billable target of 1800, you won't sacrifice work/life balance. Attorneys throughout North Carolina who are open to the Winston-Salem market are encouraged to apply. ABOUT THE ROLE The associate will work alongside experienced employment attorneys on workplace disputes and litigation matters. Responsibilities may include: Conducting legal research and preparing written analysis Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and other case materials Supporting litigation strategy and case management Managing multiple matters and competing deadlines Collaborating with attorneys and clients throughout the litigation process Working independently while remaining connected to the broader legal team WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE Three to five years of litigation experience Employment law experience preferred Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills Sound judgment and the ability to manage multiple priorities Initiative, accountability, and a collaborative working style Admission to the North Carolina Bar or eligibility to seek admission using a qualifying UBE score Strong academic credentials COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The firm offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package supporting employees’ health, financial well-being, and time away from work.
