This role is pivotal in defining how our platforms evolve to meet the demands of AI, HPC, and enterprise workloads at scale. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to deliver innovative solutions that drive performance, reliability, and simplicity for our customers. This is a senior-level role requiring deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong business acumen. Key Responsibilities: Define and own the long-term vision and roadmap for DDN’s Infinia platform portfolio including 3rd party strategy. Define and communicate the long-term hardware and storage media platform strategy and roadmap that supports our software-defined Infinia platform on premises, including third-party and OEM hardware options. Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to inform product direction. Product Lifecycle Management Drive end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to launch and adoption. Collaborate with engineering to prioritize features, manage trade-offs, and ensure timely delivery. Act as the voice of the customer, gathering insights from key accounts and industry partners. Support strategic customer engagements and represent DDN at industry events. Cross-Functional Leadership Partner with marketing to craft messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies. Enable sales and field teams with product knowledge and competitive differentiation. Performance & Scalability Focus Ensure platforms meet stringent requirements for performance, scalability, and reliability. Drive innovation in areas such as AI infrastructure, cloud integration, and data management. Metrics & Business Impact Define success metrics and monitor product performance against business objectives. Influence pricing, packaging, and profitability strategies. Qualifications: Experience 10+ years in product management, with at least 5 years focused on storage, data platforms, or infrastructure products. Proven experience defining and owning hardware platform strategy for a software-defined or software-platform product. Proven track record of delivering complex, enterprise-grade products and solutions. Technical Expertise Strong understanding of storage architecture, distributed systems, and data-intensive workloads. Familiarity with AI/ML, HPC, and cloud-native technologies. Hands‑on knowledge of server/hardware platform design, storage media (NVMe/SSD/flash and HDD), hardware bring‑up and qualification, reference architectures, and BOM/cost and supply‑chain considerations. Competency with NVIDIA AI Enterprise Software a plus OEM/ODM partnership, hardware qualification, or hardware‑supply experience a plus Business & Leadership Skills Exceptional ability to translate technical capabilities into business value. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
