Parkwood Behavioral Health System provides behavioral health and chemical dependency services to the Mid-South region and has been in business since 1987. We are located in Desoto County, in the northwest corner of Mississippi and approximately 7 miles south of Memphis. Parkwood Behavioral Health System includes a 148-bed inpatient acute and residential care facility, as well as partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs.

Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor

Status: Full-time Hours/Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.) Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Monday

In addition to the duties of a Registered Nurse, the RN House Supervisor supervises the delivery of nursing care provided by professional and support nursing staff on a designated unit.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Experience: One (1) year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Licensure: Licensure and registration by the Mississippi Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse, or multi-state license as approved by NCSBN. CPR Current CPR or BLS certification.
• Knowledge: Must possess knowledge of general and psychiatric nursing processes, therapeutic relationships and processes, age specific growth and development, limit setting, crisis and behavior management and CPR training.
