Position Summary

• Conduct various diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure the comfort and safety of patients throughout their procedures, with clear and compassionate explanations of each step
• Work closely with radiologists and referring clinicians to provide exceptional diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing any issues
• Accurately record procedures and maintain comprehensive patient records within the electronic medical records system
• Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound technologies and best practices

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Needed

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
