Industrial Electrician

Join one of the top Food & Beverage manufacturers! This industry leader is seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Electrician to keep state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment up and running. Position Overview Job Title: Industrial Electrician Location: Chicago, IL Shift: 2nd or 3rd Status: Full-time Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems supporting high-speed production lines Diagnose and resolve issues with automated control systems, including PLC (programmable logic controllers) and VFD (variable frequency drives) Interpret and work from electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment schematics to guide repairs and installations Maintain and service low- and high-voltage electrical equipment throughout the facility, adhering to safety protocols Support production uptime by responding to equipment breakdowns across rotating shift assignments, including evenings and overnights Key Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on electrical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting High school diploma or equivalent required; a technical or trade certification is a plus Demonstrated experience troubleshooting PLC-based control systems and working with ladder logic programming Comfortable working with a range of voltage systems, including higher-voltage industrial equipment Preferred: Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Willingness and ability to work flexible shifts, including 2nd and 3rd shift as needed Competitive base compensation Medical and health benefits Dynamic and collaborative work environment Professional development and growth opportunities within a forward-thinking organization #J-18808-Ljbffr Simulacra
