Six Sigma Black Belt certification (must possess or obtain within 180 days of contract award).

Responsibilities

• Oversee all quality assurance functions within assigned task areas.
• Lead and supervise a team of quality auditors and tutors.
• Develop, implement, and monitor internal procedures to ensure compliance with Government regulations and policies.
• Coordinate operational and administrative activities related to quality programs.
• Ensure effective delivery of training and audit outcomes to support contract performance standards.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Demonstrated expertise in quality control operations management.
• Ability to develop, update, and monitor internal procedures for compliance.
• Strong coordination skills for administrative and operational activities.
• Leadership experience directing teams in audit and/or training environments.

Background Investigation

This position requires that you obtain a background investigation. As part of this process, the government will perform a criminal, credit, tax, employment, and drug history background check. The government has varying tolerances, with mitigating circumstances, for issues in all of the categories. The government is essentially looking to confirm that you are generally in good financial standing, up to date on your tax filings, rehired eligible with your prior employers, and have adhered to any federal restrictions on illegal drug use, including marijuana, in addition to other checks related on your character and trust worthiness.
