In Your Day-To-Day, You Will Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient exams, treatments, diagnostics, and medical procedures to deliver exceptional patient care. Monitor surgical and hospitalized patients, providing attentive nursing support and recognizing changes in patient condition. Prepare patients for surgery by performing surgical prep, maintaining sterile technique, and supporting the team throughout surgical procedures. Collect and prepare laboratory samples while ensuring surgical equipment and treatment areas are clean, organized, and ready for use. Communicate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, and fellow team members to ensure seamless patient care and continuity throughout each shift. Educate and support pet owners by providing compassionate updates and clear discharge and home-care instructions. Maintain accurate medical records and document patient treatments, observations, and communications in a timely manner. Help foster a clean, safe, and efficient hospital environment while always advocating for the health, comfort, and well-being of every patient. What You Bring A positive, team-first attitude with the initiative to jump in, help where needed, and contribute to a collaborative hospital environment. The ability to remain calm, adaptable, and focused while working in a fast-paced, dynamic clinical setting. A genuine passion for animal care and a desire to learn, grow, and build your veterinary skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to providing compassionate care to patients and exceptional service to clients. A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Previous veterinary, clinical, or animal handling experience is preferred, but not requiredwe're happy to train motivated individuals. The ability to safely lift up to 40 pounds unassisted and comfortably perform the physical responsibilities of the role. A dependable work ethic, strong organizational skills, and a willingness to support your teammates while delivering outstanding patient care.
