Supervisor, Programmatic

Programmatic is constantly evolving, much like we are. We're looking for a Supervisor or Manager, Programmatic who thrives on turning strategy into execution, data into action, and great campaigns into even better results. You'll lead programmatic activation across a diverse client portfolio, partnering with Strategy, Analytics, Client teams, and media partners to deliver work that performs. This is a hands‑on role. You'll own campaign execution, challenge conventional thinking, help shape smarter ways of working, and mentor team members along the way. WHAT YOU'LL DO Own the execution, optimization, and performance of programmatic campaigns across Display, Video, CTV, Audio, Mobile, Native, Retail Media, and emerging channels. Partner with Strategy and Client teams to bring media plans to life and deliver measurable business outcomes. Monitor campaign performance, identify opportunities, and make data-driven optimization decisions that move the needle. Lead campaign setup, QA, pacing, reporting, and post-campaign analysis with precision and accountability. Partner with our Platform / Ad Ops to seamlessly activate our addressable media plans. Collaborate with Analytics to uncover insights and translate them into actionable recommendations for clients and internal teams. Manage RFPs, evaluate partners, negotiate opportunities, and build strong relationships across the addressable and partner direct media ecosystem. Own campaign budgets, billing, reconciliations, and financial stewardship to ensure accuracy from start to finish. Continuously improve how we work by identifying smarter processes, new technologies, and better ways to deliver exceptional work. Stay ahead of industry trends, platform updates, privacy changes, and emerging opportunities that create a competitive advantage. Coach and support junior team members, sharing knowledge and creating an environment where people can do their best work. WHAT YOU BRING A deep understanding of programmatic media and the broader digital advertising landscape. A cross-channel, cross-activation approach that considers what to activate programmatically versus what to directly IO with a partner. An analytical eye and an ability to communicate unique insights that build stronger campaigns and even stronger client trust. Confidence making decisions backed by data, balanced with sound judgment and business instinct. Curiosity that pushes you to ask better questions and challenge the status quo. Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas. Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and follow-through. A collaborative mindset—you build relationships as naturally as you build campaigns. WHAT YOU'LL NEED Required 3-5 years of programmatic experience, ideally within an agency environment. Hands-on experience with leading DSPs such as DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, or similar platforms. Experience activating campaigns across Display, Video, CTV, Audio, Mobile, Native, Retail Media, and Social. Strong understanding of campaign trafficking, ad serving, audience targeting, measurement, and optimization. Experience managing budgets, pacing, billing, reconciliations, and vendor relationships. Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with reporting and visualization tools. Strong analytical thinking with the ability to transform data into actionable insights. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities without sacrificing quality. Experience mentoring or leading others in a collaborative environment. Nice to Have Certifications in DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, or similar platforms. Experience with agency buying tools. Familiarity with ad verification, attribution, and measurement platforms. Experience within retail media or commerce media. HOW WE WORK We're a hybrid team based in Chicago, collaborating in the office Tuesday through Thursday and working remotely Monday and Friday.
