PT PHARMACY PATIENT SERVICES REP

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Registration and update of patients, which includes collecting and updating all patient demographic, eligibility, and insurance information and enters data into the appropriate CVHS MIS system; explain CVHS services and appropriate patient policies and proceduresAssist Pharmacist in processing prescription insurance claims, including reconciliationAssist Pharmacist in patient complianceAssist patients in enrollment into Pharmacy Assistance ProgramsAnswer incoming phone calls from patients for prescription refill requests and related mattersRequisition and maintain adequate levels of Pharmacy office suppliesProcess incoming and outgoing mail, including prescriptionsAssist other departments in obtaining necessary patient, prescription or billing data that would enhance the Center’s flow of patient care and billingMaintain strict observance of patient confidentialityPrepares daily reconciliation of input data to computer output for daily charges and payments.Prepares daily bank deposit of cash received and delivers deposits to bank as necessary.Prepares daily encounter forms for filing.All CVHS Pharmacy staff will abide by the standards of accreditation in Mail Order Pharmacy and Specialty Pharmacy.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Pharmacy experience preferredComputer skillsCashiering skillsDedication to detail, thoroughness and follow-throughProblem solving skills and the ability to work with minimum supervisionRespect for patient confidentialityBilingual preferred but not mandatoryEDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:High school diploma, pharmacy experience preferred but not mandatory #J-18808-Ljbffr CENTRAL VIRGINIA HEALTH SERVICES INC
