Communications Associate Director – Growth Markets The Opportunity As a Communications Associate Director aligned to Growth Markets, you will provide senior‑level leadership for the development and execution of integrated internal communications strategies that support EY’s growth, reputation and market presence across US geographies. You will serve as a trusted communications advisor to Growth Markets leadership, helping translate business strategy, market dynamics and firm priorities into compelling, audience‑centric narratives. This role operates in a fast‑paced, highly matrixed environment and requires strong judgment, executive presence and the ability to lead both strategy and people. Your Key Responsibilities Own and lead communications strategies in support of US Growth Markets priorities, ensuring alignment with firm strategy and leadership objectives Serve as a senior communications advisor to Markets leaders, providing counsel on positioning, messaging, reputation management and issues response Shape and oversee narratives that highlight EY’s market leadership, client impact, economic perspective and strategic priorities Lead integrated communications across channels, including leadership messaging, internal communications, social and digital platforms Partner closely with Service Lines, Industry Groups, Markets and BMC leadership to ensure consistent, coordinated storytelling across the firm Set frameworks, processes and governance to enable effective planning, prioritization and execution across communications teams Use data and insights to measure communications effectiveness and continuously refine strategy Lead, coach and develop Assistant Directors and Senior Associates, fostering a high‑performance, collaborative team culture Skills And Attributes For Success Extensive experience leading corporate, market‑facing or leadership communications in a complex, matrixed organization Strong understanding of market‑ and geography‑based communications strategies Proven ability to influence and advise senior leaders and partners with confidence and credibility Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex or technical topics Strategic mindset with the ability to balance long‑term vision and near‑term execution Demonstrated people leadership experience, including coaching and developing high‑performing teams High level of judgment, attention to detail and comfort operating in high‑visibility environments Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment High discretion and professionalism Ideally, you’ll also have 10–12 years of experience in executive or internal communications Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience Experience supporting senior leaders in complex organizations Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality executive materials under tight timelines What We Offer You At EY, we’ll develop you with future-focused skills and equip you with world-class experiences. We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $130,500 to $251,200. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $156,600 to $285,400. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
