Details Work in the Pediatric OR unit of a children's hospital Day shift schedule (4x10 hours) with variable start times of 6:45 AM or 8:45 AM Monday through Friday schedule with occasional weekends Shift start times may vary week to week based on department needs Ability to float to other UCSF facilities as needed Uses Epic charting system Requirements Active CA RN license required BSN required Current certifications: BLS and PALS (CNOR preferred) Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required Pediatric General OR experience required Teaching hospital experience required Trauma Level I experience required Trauma Level II and community hospital experience preferred Epic charting system experience required Previous charge experience preferred Ambulatory OR, CVOR, General OR, Peds CVOR, and Trauma experience preferred Two references from most recent employer required for consideration Any prior employment history with University of California medical facilities or acquired facilities must be disclosed, including dates, units, and manager names Additional Information Provide perioperative nursing care in a pediatric operating room setting within a teaching hospital environment May be reassigned to a different department, unit, or facility within a 75 mile radius at any time during the assignment if qualified Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates Travel pairs are allowed but generally will not be placed on the same unit, and married couples may not work on the same unit All RTO must be disclosed at time of submission and approved by the manager at time of offer No additional RTO requests will be accepted mid-contract RTO cannot fall within the first two weeks of the assignment start date First-time travelers may be considered if experience requirements are met American Traveler Job ID P-740650.
