If you like to make things happen and are passionate about what you do, you’re going to want to be here.Join us and become part of the power behind possible.**About The Opportunity**The Forklift Operator drives an industrial truck equipped with forklift, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in warehouse or factory.**Essential Functions:**1. Transport finished jobs or goods into correct areas2. Move pallets of goods for jobs in process to appropriate area as needed3. Place finished goods which are on a designated pallet to the correct location4. Accurately complete forklift operator’s checklist5. Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues6. Confer with managers to ensure coordination of other production lines7. Conduct a physical inventory of all corrugated materials by performing daily cycle counts8. Perform inventory audits on a daily basis or as needed9. Maintain a clean and safe work area by moving empty pallets to a designated area10. Assist supervisors on the production floor to maintain a safe work environment11. Perform all functions accurately as required in our WMS system12. Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors **Education/Certification:*** High School Diploma or Equivalent* Ability to pass certification to operate a forklift truck **Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**• Safety sensitive position – ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business• Ability to effectively work in teams• Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people• Ability to detect and respond to visual and audible safety warnings, including moving equipment, forklift horns, alarms, and warning lights, to safely perform the essential functions of the position.• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles• Ability to interpret written and verbal instructions• Ability to work with plant management for required results• Ability to perform all computer functions as they pertain to the job **Physical Requirements & Work Environment**• Ability to move and handle merchandise throughout the facility generally weighing up to 50 pounds• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods operating a forklift• Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending on the season **Two companies, one vision.**Menasha Corporation consists of two companies that are leading the way to a sustainable future with packaging and supply chain solutions.
