Primary Location: UK - Perth, Saltire House Job Description Join our dynamic and multidisciplinary Water Team as an Associate Civil Engineer in one of our rapidly growing Scotland offices (Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth or Inverness) – whilst also taking advantage of our flexible hybrid working model. Here’s what you’ll do: Lead project teams to deliver high‑quality outcomes that meet client expectations. Manage design scope to ensure projects are delivered within budget and programme constraints. Identify project resourcing needs and engage with relevant team leaders to ensure adequate resource allocation in line with project needs. Technical Expertise Demonstrate strong technical understanding and maintain awareness of current industry practices and innovations. Lead the quality assurance process for project deliverables, ensuring compliance with standards and client requirements. Proactively look to improve project delivery through technical design, championing the implementation of standardisation, low carbon design, etc. Team Development Develop and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support to help them reach their full potential. Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment that encourages professional growth. Work with team management to identify general skillset deficiencies within the wider team and contribute to plans to resolve issues. Communication and Stakeholder Engagement Act as a strong communicator, capable of effectively engaging with multiple project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and external partners. Health & Safety Leadership Possess a strong knowledge of current health and safety legislation. Here’s what we’re looking for: Education Base – Beng Civil Engineering Degree (or equivalent). Professional Accreditation – Be professionally qualified with a relevant body (ICE, CIWEM, etc.) or be actively working towards professional accreditation with a relevant body.
