Protouch Staffing is seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week night-shift travel assignment. Work with a diverse adult and geriatric patient population while gaining valuable experience in trauma, orthopedic, and acute medical care.

• Patient Ratio: 1:5
• Unit Size: 38 Beds
• Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric
• On-Call: None
• Charting: Epic
• Requested Time Off: No RTO accepted

Weekly Compensation

• Gross Weekly Pay: $1,800
• Taxable Weekly Pay: $1,800
• Non-Taxable Weekly Stipends: None
• Taxable Hourly Rate: $50.00/hour based on 36 hours

Experience & Requirements

Required:

• Documented Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Completed Med/Surg Telemetry skills checklist
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients
• Familiarity with trauma and orthopedic trauma care
• Experience with heparin infusions and acute medication administration
• Epic electronic medical record experience

Clinical Environment:

• Trauma, falls, fractures, and motor vehicle collision injuries
• Geriatric nursing and orthopedic trauma care
• Delirium prevention and early mobility
• Fall prevention and hospital-acquired pressure injury prevention
• Patient and family communication
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary care teams
