Contract | Days | Shifts vary — may include Wed–Sun or Thu–Mon; typically 8-hour shifts with varying start times; holidays not required

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients across assigned areas, which may include inpatient, outpatient, and/or rehabilitation settings, with potential to float to other areas as needed
• Manage a patient caseload that may reach up to 9 patients per day in outpatient or up to 13 patients per day in inpatient settings
• Treat a variety of diagnoses including orthopedic, post-surgical, neurological, trauma, cardiac, and med-surg conditions
• Collaborate with rehab aides and other therapy team members (OT, Speech) to deliver coordinated patient care
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner Powerchart EMR
• Participate in a department-specific orientation of approximately 1.5 days, including EMR training as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of California
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Physical Therapist; candidates with inpatient clinical experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Proficiency or ability to quickly learn Cerner Powerchart EMR
• Ability to adhere to facility dress code: maroon polo shirt, dark-colored pants, and closed-toe shoes (lab coat optional)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel therapy experience
• Experience treating trauma patients
• Familiarity with inpatient acute care settings including orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical patient populations
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team environment
