Advanced CAM Programmer -- 5‑Axis Milling (Aerospace/Defense)

Shape the future of precision manufacturing

Join us in Manchester, NH to push what’s possible on multi‑axis CNC equipment. This role is built for a programmer who loves turning complex aerospace/defense prints into elegant, efficient Mastercam toolpaths and enjoys partnering with shop teams to make every run better than the last.

Your remit

Program multi‑axis CNC milling operations in Mastercam to achieve exacting tolerances and surface finishes.
Engineer manufacturing processes that increase productivity and consistency across runs.
Set up and operate Fanuc‑based CNC machines to validate and optimize programs on the floor.
Work cross‑functionally to diagnose root causes and resolve manufacturing issues quickly.
Mine production data to identify improvement opportunities and reduce cycle times.
Support sales efforts by preparing precise runtime, setup, and tooling estimates for quotes.
Provide hands‑on training, mentorship, and safety guidance to machinists and operators.

What sets you apart

7–10 years of CNC programming experience with Mastercam, fluent in G‑code and M‑code.
Demonstrated multi‑axis machining background within aerospace/defense manufacturing.
Strong communicator with a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset.
Detail‑driven problem solver who owns results and prioritizes safety.
Equally effective working independently or within cross‑functional teams.

Technical fluency

GD&T comprehension and practical application
Advanced troubleshooting and corrective action
Production machine setups and program prove‑outs

CAM: Mastercam
3–4 axis VMCs: Fanuc controls
5+ axis VMCs: Fanuc and Matsuura
