Laboratory Support Specialist

Position Summary Coordinates and maintains consistent workflow of all laboratory office tasks to ensure efficient operations. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Performs general office duties including faxing, copying, scanning, and filing. Communicates with customers, staff, and physicians to answer questions and report results. Maintains office equipment and orders supplies. Creates, maintains, and updates files, databases, records, and other documents. Data entry that supports office needs, ICD-10 and CPT coding, and outreach registrations. Transcribes dictation reports and performs clerical duties that support pathologists.
