Korean Speaking Hospice RN Per Diem

Next Care Hospice is a fast growing hospice agency that provides compassionate care to our patients and their families during the end‑of‑life journey. We are committed in providing continuous training to our nurses with growth opportunities across the clinical and administrative tracks. We are currently in need of an experienced Korean speaking per‑diem hospice RN to give skilled nursing to hospice patients at home and senior facilities. One year minimum experience is required. The RN must have experience in hospice care and be able to bring each visit to completion with recording of the notes in the EMR system (Hospice MD). Compensation Supervisory Visits: Starting at $85/visit Re‑Certifications: Starting at $100/visit New Admissions: Starting at $250/admission Our hospice patients are located in Orange County and Long Beach areas. The RN is expected to conduct supervisory visits, recertifications and new admissions. Responsibilities Conduct assessment, nursing diagnosis, and treatment of assigned patients. Provide skilled nursing hospice and palliative care services. Initiate and coordinate hospice care plan, supervise CHHAs and LVNs. Work cooperatively with the attending physician, Hospice Medical Director, and other members of the interdisciplinary team. Review and update plan of care regularly. Perform prescribed medical treatments (including pain management and symptom control). Conduct assessments and evaluations; provide education and supportive care to patient and caregivers. Utilize computers and be comfortable with EMR (Hospice MD). Hospice MD training can be provided. Adhere to health and safety guidelines. Qualifications Current RN license within the State.
