Monitor TechnicianThe Monitor Technician (MT) is responsible for assisting in care of patients under the direction of an RN or LPN. The monitor technician performs duties including observing and monitoring heart rhythms and rates, informing the nursing staff of any change in patients' status.Education: Must possess high school diploma or GED equivalent.Licenses/Certificate: Basic Life Support (BLS) CertificationComplete the basic arrhythmia course.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the following Essential Duties satisfactorily.
