HR Benefits Specialist

Creative Financial Staffing is partnered with a nonprofit organization located in Worcester, MA seeking an HR Benefits Specialist to join their team.
About the Opportunity with the Organization:
- Focused on helping people experiencing homelessness, this nonprofit has assisted almost 100,000 people transition into housing
- Founded over 30 years ago in Massachusetts, they now have operations in all six New England States and locations in the Midwest
- They offer a variety of services including transitional care, long-term programs, and employment training
- Manage benefits administration includes enrollment, status changes, and terminations for health insurance and other benefits
- Coordinate with benefit vendors
- Answer employee questions and act as point of contact for questions on benefits or leave of absence
- Administer leaves including preparation and return-to-work processing
- Ensure federal, state, and local compliance for benefits in several US states
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or experience equivalent (+4 years of experience)
- 3+ years of experience in an HR role which includes LOA/benefits administration
- Experience in a nonprofit organization is a plus
Salary Range:
$60,000 - 70,000 depending on experience
