Position: Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Schedule: Various shifts may be available including days evenings weekends and holidays
What Youll Do
- Provide direct care support and assistance to individuals in a community-based setting
- Assist with daily living activities and personal care as needed
- Encourage independence dignity and participation in community activities
- Provide transportation or accompany individuals to appointments and activities when required
- Monitor and document individual activities and services provided
- Follow individualized service plans and established safety procedures
- Communicate effectively with supervisors coworkers individuals served and their families/support systems
- Maintain a safe respectful and supportive environment
What Were Looking For
- Compassionate and patient approach to supporting others
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Previous experience in healthcare behavioral health human services or direct care is a plus
- High school diploma/GED may be required depending on assignment
- Must be able to successfully complete required background checks and pre-employment requirements
