Direct Support ProfessionalLooking for dependable, compassionate direct support professionals to work with an individual with a developmental disability who has some behavioral challenges. We are hiring for all shifts and pay more based on experience and education.Duties and Responsibilities:Supporting personal goalsAdministering medicationsPlanning and preparing mealsAssisting with activities of daily livingTransporting to and from day program and community outingsReinforcing therapies, including speech, behavioral support, and physical therapyEnsuring all needs are addressed in a respectful manner with dignity and personal choiceCompleting and maintaining required documentation on a web-based systemQualifications:Ability to be certified in enhanced behavioral interventionTwo years of related behavioral experience preferredDegree/certification related to behavioral health preferredValid driver's licenseMust be at least 18 years of ageCurrent automobile insuranceAbility to pass registry and background checksAbility to lift up to 75 pounds as neededAbility to use verbal and physical intervention to redirect and/or to complete an emergency safety intervention with a person who is physically aggressive or self-abusiveShifts needed:7am-3pm3pm-11pm11pm-7am
