Lead Automotive Technician

*Duties*

* Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues with engines, transmissions, electrical systems, suspension, and steering.
* Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle components including powertrains, transmissions, suspension systems, and electrical wiring diagrams interpretation.
* Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete repairs accurately and safely.
* Interpret schematics and automotive wiring diagrams to troubleshoot complex electrical problems.
* Repair or replace vehicle systems such as brakes, alignments, wheel assemblies, and vehicle transmission systems to ensure optimal performance.
* Maintain detailed service records and prepare accurate auto estimating reports for repairs performed.
* Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.

*Requirements*

* Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair.
* At least *5* years of automotive diagnostic experience
* Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics, and electrical systems.
* Hands-on experience with automotive electrical systems, vehicle maintenance, and system repairs including powertrain and transmission work.
* Familiarity with the use of automotive diagnostic tools for troubleshooting modern vehicles.
* Mechanical proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair equipment.
* Ability to interpret automotive wiring diagrams accurately for electrical repairs.
* Strong understanding of vehicle suspension system repair and alignment procedures.
* Valid mechanic license or certification preferred; relevant certifications in engine repair or welding are advantageous.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
