JOB SUMMARY

The Laminated Product Sales Rep is responsible for developing new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and growing sales of commercial laminated products, casework, countertops, and related solutions. The Laminated Product Sales Rep is a motivated sales professional with experience in commercial construction products, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to work closely with contractors, architects, designers, and end users throughout the sales process.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, architects, designers, facility managers, and commercial clients.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve sales growth objectives.
• Promote and sell commercial laminated products, casework, countertops, and related solutions.
• Conduct product presentations and provide technical product information to customers.
• Review project plans and specifications to identify sales opportunities and project requirements.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales presentations in a timely and professional manner.
• Coordinate with estimating, engineering, project management, and production teams to ensure accurate project execution.
• Follow up on leads, quotations, and bid opportunities to maximize sales conversion.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and project status within CRM and company systems.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to generate new business.
• Provide market feedback regarding customer needs, competitive activity, and industry trends.
• Assist customers throughout the project lifecycle to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

• Strong knowledge of commercial laminated products, architectural casework, cabinetry, millwork, or related construction products.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain customer relationships.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM software, and project management systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate's degree or bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of sales experience in commercial construction products, millwork, casework, cabinetry, laminated products, or related industries.
• Experience working with commercial contractors, architects, designers, and purchasing professionals is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and production environments is a plus.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
