Job description:


Transition Manager will be responsible for leading the end-to-end transition of Application Management Services (AMS) for the Oracle Fusions apps ecosystem in scope . This role is pivotal in ensuring business continuity, service excellence, and the effective integration of AMS processes, systems, and personnel across HCM, SCM, ERP and Technical tracks

Key Responsibilities


Transition Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive transition roadmap, including detailed project timelines, milestones, resource planning, and contingency strategies to ensure alignment across every functional and technical track


Stakeholder Management : Serve as the principal point of contact between the outgoing vendor, internal business units, IT teams, and external partners. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing to enable a successful transfer of services.


Knowledge Transfer Management: Oversee the structured transfer of technical documentation, operational procedures, process flows, and system access. Monitor shadowing and reverse-shadowing activities to verify effective knowledge absorption.


Risk Management: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential threats to every stage and implement mitigation plans and maintain compliance with organizational policies and relevant regulations.


Service Level Assurance: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) during the transition, promptly escalating and resolving any deviations.


Issue Resolution: Lead regular transition meetings, document action items, and address operational, technical, or contractual concerns with a focus on timely resolution and clear communication.


Compliance and Documentation: Maintain rigorous oversight of compliance activities, ensuring adherence to security, privacy, and regulatory requirements throughout the transition.

Job Qualifications


We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of 15 years of relevant transition experience, specifically in managing application transitions. Experience with Oracle Fusion or other ERP systems is strongly preferred.

Key Requirements:

• Demonstrated leadership abilities and outstanding communication skills, with a proven track record of guiding teams and fostering strong relationships among stakeholders.
• Extensive experience across the entire application transition lifecycle, including project initiation, resource planning, and milestone tracking.
• Proficiency in establishing, measuring, and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure all aspects of the transition process remain on schedule.
• Proven capability in navigating complex environments and coordinating transition activities involving outgoing vendors, business units, IT, and external partners.
• Comprehensive knowledge of knowledge transfer processes, including documentation management, workflow supervision, and system access administration to guarantee seamless onboarding.
• Background in compliance-driven settings, ensuring that security, privacy, and organizational policies are rigorously maintained throughout the transition process.
