About the Position

Opportunity:

MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work Thursday through Saturday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM night shifts
• Weekend availability required
• No on-call responsibilities required
• Block scheduling type
• 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Must have pediatric and/or Philips experience
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Will float within scope to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities
• Perform MRI examinations following protocols under direct or indirect supervision
• Work with neonatal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Community hospital and LTAC experience preferred
• Required certifications: ARMRIT or ARRT MRI, BLS (AHA only, RQI not accepted)
• Required skills include but are not limited to: brain, lumbar, thoracic, knee, shoulder, hip/bony pelvis, pediatric acute care, adult acute care, preparation and administration of contrast media, starting peripheral IVs, PACS, Philips, Siemens, and various MRI imaging techniques
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Orientation hours: 40
• Pre-approved time off: up to one occurrence
