Fast-Track Application Requirements

Education: Graduate of an accredited RN program

Licensure: Current Virginia RN license or eligible to obtain one

Experience: Graduating soon or graduated with less than one year of RN practice

Sentara Nurse Residency Program

Transition confidently from student to professional with a comprehensive 6-month Nurse Residency Program.

Automatic enrollment for all newly hired graduate nurses

Available at all 12 Sentara hospitals

Hands-on training, mentorship, and professional development

Specialized tracks in six areas: Medical-Surgical, Intermediate Care, Critical Care, Emergency, Operating Room, and Women's Health
